Curacao is perfect for catamaran sailing! This is due to the constant breeze, beautiful and warm sea and good waves. Try it and you are convinced! No sailing experience is needed.
Bounty Adventures Watersports is the only beach sailing school on Curacao and is located at Jan Thiel Beach, next to restaurant Zanzibar. We definately recommend our spectacular sailing trips along the coast to nearby bays, like to Barbara Beach and Fuik Bay. This is sailing on the Caribbean sea, so it is beautiful and the water is warm! We also offer sailing courses and short instructed 1 hour trips.
Jan Thiel Beach is one of the most popular beaches on Curacao and has many facilities, such as the famous bar-lounge-restaurant Zanzibar and a massage and souvenir shop.

We rent catamaran sailboats (Hobie Cat Getaway 16.7 ft) with instructor, 1 or 2 people can go with the instructor. Good sailors can sail themselves.

Learn to Cat-sail the Caribbean Sea!
We provide 3 different levels of Cat Sailing courses, all on sea. Each course module contains 3 x 1.5 hours of instruction.
Course A: An introduction to Cat Sailing on sea where you will learn the basic sailing techniques. You will be able to sail the cat with the aid of an instructor. The primary focus is the relationship between the wind and the sail trim and tacking and jibing manouvres.
Course B: Advanced course Cat Sailing on sea. You will be able to control the cat on your own under supervision of the instructor. The exercises include docking and launching, beating to windward, heavy weather sailing and man over board manouvres.
Course C: The goal of the Cat Solo course is to learn the skill that is necessary to sail the cat on sea, without an instructor. The focus is on being able to do the sailing manouvres on your own. Exercises in safety like capsizing and rightening the cat are also included.
Prices: Course A, B or C: USD 249.00 per person.
People who pass our Cat Sailing course and have shown to be capable and safe sailors can rent the cats without instructor.

Kayaking on the Caribbean Sea
At Bounty Adventures Watersports you can rent Kayaks and pedal boats.
Kayaking (per hour): NAF. 20,- (USD 12,-) per kayak
Pedal boat (per hour) : NAF. 25,- (USD 15,-) (max. 2 adults)
